Thyme And Bone Broth Braised Brussels Sprouts Recipe
Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
- 1 tbsp (15 ml) extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 shallots, sliced
- 1 lb (450 g) Brussels sprouts, trimmed
- 1 cup (240 ml) Chicken Bone Broth
- 1½ tsp (1 g) chopped fresh thyme or ½ tsp dried
- ¼ tsp sea salt, we recommend Selina Naturally Celtic
- ¼ tsp freshly ground pepper
Directions:
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shallots and Brussels sprouts and cook, stirring often, until the shallots start to brown and the Brussels sprouts are browned in spots, 2 to 4 minutes. Stir in the broth, thyme, salt and pepper. Cover and reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook until the Brussels sprouts are tender, 10 to 15 minutes
