Why is bone broth good for you? With 85 percent of your immune system residing in your gut, it is the most logical place to start when healing the body. Bone broth contains many amino acids, two notable ones being proline and glycine. Glycine supports detoxification in the body and helps the body assimilate collagen. Proline is essential to cell structures by strengthening their walls. This is beneficial for those looking to heal the gut from digestive disorders, those who seek skin & cardiovascular support as well as support for more superficial ailments—like cellulite and lack-luster skin. It’s also a great source of bio-available minerals like phosphorus, magnesium, calcium, silicon and sulfur.

Bone Broth Latte

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Bonafide Provisions Chicken Bone Broth
  • ¼ teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon rosemary
  • Sea salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 ½ tablespoons ghee or grassfed butter

Directions

In a medium saucepan, heat up the broth on medium heat until it begins to simmer. Add spices and turn the temperature down to low. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to a high-speed blender pitcher. Add ghee. Blend on medium-high for 30 seconds until frothy and well combined. Serve right away.
