Scientists in the UK want you to go green—literally! While subjects performed moderate-intensity exercise, researchers showed footage of a race course filtered through green, red and gray lenses. Get out your iPod! Australian researchers discovered that listening to tunes increased the length of time subjects could run before feeling exhausted. In the study, oxygen consumption and blood lactate concentrations were also lower when runners cruised to a beat.

The Archives of Clinical Neurpsychology recently featured a study that suggested running may help children with ADHD. Children who participated in 30 minutes of aerobic exercise fared better on focus-oriented tasks than those who simply watched a running- or exercise-related video.
