If you’re looking for an easy, DIY-styled appetizer for your next dinner party, this hummus recipe has the taste you want and the simplicity you crave. Bonus: the addition of coconut oil makes this dip extra creamy.

Hempseed Hummus With Coconut Oil

Serves 4 to 6

Ingredients

  • 1 15-ounce can of garbanzo beans, drained
  • ½ cup organic hempseed*
  • 4 Tbsp. coconut oil**
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • ½ cup parsley, chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 tsp. sea salt to taste
  • 2 Tbsp. water

Directions

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until creamy.
  2. Serve and garnish with additional parsley.
