A hefty dose of nature’s medicine may be a good treatment for asthma, according to Swiss researchers. Scientists recently discovered that a diet high in fruits, vegetables and whole grains altered the types of bacteria living in the gut of mice. This, in turn, allowed the immune system to keep lung irritation and asthma rates at bay.
