I love a good deal on running clothes, especially because I work at home and often hop on the athleisure trend, too. Being comfortable in my clothes on a day-to-day basis is important, so I am always on the hunt for more ways that I can (affordably) get more comfy threads. Enter Ellie.com.
The Details
Ellie is a subscription box for activewear, containing 5 curated pieces of apparel and gear for $49.95 (with free shipping). You get a new outfit every month and each box contains a sports bra, top, pair of leggings/capris and two pieces of fitness equipment.
I got the chance to try out Ellie’s May subscription box and was pleasantly surprised by everything from the packaging and presentation to the quality of items inside.
The May Box
The May box (pictured above) arrived and I immediately dug in. When I opened it, I was pleasantly surprised to find everything in a great bag—reminiscent of the drawstring bags you often receive at packet pick-up for a race—containing all of the goods.
From there, I found this month’s outfit and the two fitness accessories, which included an armband to easily workout out with a phone (which was perfect timing because my old one is on the worn side) and some yoga stress balls.
The sports bra is plain black and has some really cute strap details, while still being completely functional for a workout. The tank top is nice and stretchy and thin, perfect as the weather warms up. The capris are black with a cute abstract detail (seen in the photo above) to give the outfit a pop of color.
If you are looking for a great way to get some new goodies every month, Ellie is an affordable way to do it. The good news is that you can easily skip a month if needed, so you aren’t locked in if you find your wardrobe growing too quickly or are saving money around the holidays.
