In a few weeks if you are flying out of Baltimore-Washington International Airport in Baltimore, Maryland, you can use the time waiting for your flight to get in a quality workout. No more sitting at the gate for hours people watching or at the bar if your flight is delayed.
Opening behind airport security, Roam Fitness will offer people a place to work out and shower—and help reduce the stress that traveling can put on the body.
Future locations include Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT), Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport and Pittsburgh International Airport; the owners are in talks with them now.
According to Mashable, you won’t even have to bring workout clothes. “The gym has partnered with athletic wear companies Lululemon and Brooks Running shoes so you can rent gear,” the report. “If you brought your own, Roam will vacuum seal your used clothes to keep any smells contained and away from your fellow passengers.”
As for pricing, a day is $40, month is $175 and year is $600.
