If runners were considering if he or she was “the one” before Sunday’s Skechers LA Marathon, they have a chance to make it official on Valentine’s Day. The marathon announced that a Justice of the Peace will be at mile 10 to wed eager couples during the Feb. 14 race. The arrangement is in partnership with Universal Pictures ahead of “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2,” the sequel to the 2002 smash-hit comedy about the Portokalos family and their over-the-top approach to their daughter’s wedding. The sequel comes out next month.

Mile 10, which will be decorated in V-Day decor (think: really big hearts), sits at the intersection of Hollywood and Vine along the course that runs from the “stadium to the sea.” The JOTP will be on a “wedding” stage to perform the nuptials for lovebird runners.

We’ve seen this before, but it was at night in the city of quickie weddings along The Strip.
