Much of the Women’s Running staff grew up watching Party of Five, wishing we could be Jennifer Love Hewitt. After spending time with her at this month’s cover shoot, we still wish we could be Jennifer Love Hewitt. This girl is as cool as it gets!
EARLY BIRD
Jennifer arrived at the studio at 9 a.m., but had already put in a few hours of work, promoting her show The Client List on morning radio. She quickly traded her maxi dress and stilettos for running duds and was ready to go.

RUNS ON COFFEE
Muffins and scones were served for the hungry crew. Jennifer bee-lined for a can of La Croix water, washed down with “a nice, strong coffee.”
THE CAMERA LOVES HER
Maybe it’s because she grew up acting on television, but Jennifer was definitely relaxed in front of the lens! When photographer Scott Draper told her, “you look beautiful,” Jennifer joked, “I need to have you come to my house to tell me that every morning!”
GONNA CELEBRATE
Jennifer grooved to a Daft Punk radio station on Pandora for much of the shoot, then switched to a slightly more mellow David Bowie mix as the shoot wrapped.
A “NEW” ENTHUSIASM
Jennifer couldn’t stop raving about the “so comfortable” New Balance 870v3 shoes she wore for the shoot. Art director Erin Douglas insisted she take home both pairs as a memento.
