I
have a thing for accessories – belts, bags, jewelry, sunglasses – so it’s no
wonder this obsession carries over from my day-to-day fashion to my workout
favorites. My current watch from Timex is far and away one of the best – and
most functional – additions to my training and racing ensemble I’ve ever owned.

The
Ironman Women’s Triathlon 30-lap watch contains all the basic functions I look
for in a running timepiece – chronograph, countdown timer, lap counter, alarm
and easy-to-read large digit display. But perhaps what I like the most about it
is the white color and the slightly unique shape. It simply stands out in a
subtly cool way – to the point where I am often approached by strangers wanting
a closer look. So many fitness watches lack the element of style, or are too
bulky to be practical and comfortable. Mine blends the best of function and
aesthetic appeal, in a lovely little package strapped to my wrist.
