Treat Your Feet

It’s no secret that runner’s feet are oftentimes far from pretty. If we’re lucky enough to have
retained all ten toenails, chances are good that one or two of them are a wee
bit funky. And many of us sport calluses that are frighteningly thick. I seem
to have more than my fair share of rough-and-tough skin, and I’m always looking
for ways to smooth and soften my poor tootsies.
It was during a recent visit to a spa for a do-what-you-can-to-disguise-my-scary-feet pedicure
that I was introduced to what may be the best callus file ever known to womankind.
The Nikell NK-204 file takes to my toughest skin like a knife to butter – it’s
honestly that good. The coarse file is a special configuration of metal that
never wears down and is easy to clean. As you can imagine, I left the spa the
proud owner of my very own Nikell NK-204 file. Knowing that some of you might
feel compelled to test the file’s magic yourselves, I also tracked it down
online (as part of a two-piece set) here and here.
Check it out – and
be prepared for the softest feet you’ve felt in a long time!
