Recovery Day!

Admittedly, my downfall during most races is mental toughness. Over the stretch of 26.2 miles, I undoubtedly experience the full gamut of emotions. More often than not, I spend more time wondering whether I’m strong enough to accomplish my goal than focusing on small successes along the way. I am determined to make Boston different – so I took advantage of my rest day to dig into a good book on mental toughness in sports. I’ll happily report the results in the weeks to come. . .
