Recovery Mocktail: Sunshine Spritz

This sparkling spin on chamomile tea can be made in a glass for yourself or a pitcher for friends and family.

Chamomile has been used for centuries in ancient healing, and modern science has backed up its anti-inflammatory properties. Some studies also suggest that it may exhibit anti-estrogenic properties that combat osteoporosis. And preliminary research has shown that cacao juice can improve the recovery of explosive power. “Bright and easygoing, this drink is perfect any time of day,” says mocktail champion Julia Momose. “It can also be pre-portioned in a pitcher for a long afternoon out on the patio with friends and family.”
