There are endless “activewear” brands on the market, and in theory, choices for the active women are endless—or so it may seem. But one brand (which, by the way, we are totally digging the name) just landed on the market and is changing the way active gear is presented to women: Superfit Hero.

Micki Krimmel, a roller derby queen and currently ranked 8th in the world, decided to combine the appeal of fashion, the importance of functionality and the power of body confidence into one kick-ass brand—actually, Krimmel literally describes it as “a line of kick-ass activewear for badass women”—that empowers women to be themselves, get sweaty and keep moving.

According to Plus Model Magazine, Krimmel started where many grand ideas are birthed: Kickstarter. She raised more than $55,000, starting the campaign in late June 2015. Now the founder of what will undoubtedly be an extremely popular brand and movement, Krimmel shares her own story of body acceptance and her drive behind starting the line on the website.

However, the most intriguing thing about this brand isn’t that it goes up to and includes size 26, nor is it that it begins at size 0 and moves past size 12; Superfit Hero covers all sizes 0-26, which means it’s speaking to every women who is out there who is running, exercising, sweating and staying fit and fabulous.

“A revolution is happening in women’s fitness. Women all around us are discovering the confidence and strength that comes from working toward their athletic potential. Women everywhere are transforming into ‘superfit heroes,'” Krimmel shares with Shape.com. “The current options for women’s athletic clothing don’t represent the total badassery of these fitness superheroes. Every superhero needs a uniform.”

Krimmel, who plans to launch pieces in various sizes in late November, says she knows the struggle to find good-quality options above a certain size. She says, “Our Superfit Performance System combines top of the line performance fabrics that wick sweat and provide just the right amount of compression. Our signature adjustable waistband is tall and tapered to provide plenty of support when worn high on the waist (as shown above).”

Pre-orders are available on the company’s website, which also includes inspiring stories from real-life badass athletes, from pros to everyday exercises enthusiasts.
