Every two minutes a woman in the United States is diagnosed with breast cancer. Every 14 minutes the disease forces a woman to take her last breath, leaving behind family and friends in a world of devastation. To put things into perspective – next time you lace up your shoes and head out for a 5K, breast cancer will take the lives of two women during the time you are running (based on a 28 minute total run time).

Today marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month and we can’t think of a better reason to band together and celebrate the strength of women. Now is the time to bust out the pink and stand up in honor of our sisters, mothers, aunts, and friends who wake each day to fight for their lives. To showcase your support and donate money to breast cancer charities, check out our Love The Girls Gear Round Up!

Under Armour Go Fight Cure T-shirt ($28) – UA Power In Pink™ celebrates the women who use sports, fitness, and an active lifestyle in their fight against breast cancer. A portion of all proceeds are donated to national breast cancer charities and medical centers. Made from technical fabric, this shirt allows you to show your support in style without sacrificing function.

Nike Swoosh Bicep Bands ($5)– From rigorous training to heated competition, these bicep bands help absorb serious sweat while you show cancer who’s boss. A portion of your purchase will be donated to help in the fight against breast cancer.

ASICS GT 1000-PR ($100)– ASICS has teamed up with the Christina Applegate’s Right Action For Women, a charitable services fund of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF), to help provide assistance to women who are at increased risk for breast cancer. Made for both neutral and overpronating runners, this supportive shoe combines lightweight technology with comfort enhanced stability.

SPI Belt- Limited Edition Cancer Ribbon Belt ($20)– Roomier than it appears, the Breast Cancer SPIbelt™ can hold items such as iPods, energy packs, keys and phones, without bouncing around! To help find a cure for breast cancer, SPIbelt™ donates 10% of proceeds from this Limited Edition belt to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.

Avon Breast Cancer Ear Buds ($9)– Earbuds with faux-stone accents and the breast cancer ribbon logo are the perfect accessory for women who want to sport their support. The travel case makes them easy to carry on the go. 100% of the net profits ($5.25) will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.

New Balance Komen Momentum Running Shorts ($32)– Float through your workout while supporting the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Foundation’s fight against breast cancer with these running shorts. The practically weightless shorts include mesh ventilation panels at both sides for refreshing breathability, as well as a snug inner brief for muscle support.
