Over Labor Day weekend, thousands of runners gathered on the oceanfront course of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Virginia Beach Half Marathon. The mile race on Saturday was cancelled due to Tropical Storm Hermine, but luckily that didn’t stop runners on Sunday from taking on the half marathon and 5K. Ildiko Gaal was the top female finisher with a time of 1:24:36 and the men’s race was won by Jonathan Grey in 1:04:26. Check out these photos from the race and then register for next year’s event!
