Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Partners With iHeartRadio

The popular marathon series is bringing more music to more people across the country.

The popular Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series and iHeartMedia, a media and entertainment company with the largest reach of any radio/TV outlet in America, have partnered together to bring runners a more elevated Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series running experience, including a 24/7 Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series-branded iHeartRadio station online.

“Music powers the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series and it’s the foundation behind the past decade of growth in our industry,” said Josh Furlow, President of Competitor Group, the parent company of the Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon Series. “Our partnership with iHeartMedia further establishes our commitment to combine music and fitness in a way that helps make running fun and more accessible to everyone, and we’re thrilled to start this new journey together.”

iHeartRadio will support the musical entertainment during Rock ‘n’ Roll race weekends, including performances at the Toyota headliner concerts in Brooklyn, Savannah, Las Vegas and San Antonio. In addition, the partnership with the media powerhouse allows for the popular race series to be known across more than 800 radio stations across the country, reaching more than 200 million listeners in the U.S.

Past performances include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Aloe Blacc, Pitbull, Phillip Phillips and Train.
