Karagoucher_cover1Be coached by Olympic gold medalist marathoner Joan Benoit Samuelson or long distance track star Kara Goucher on your next run and get a boost in motivation and speed.
Available via iTunes and created by Nike, Samuelson’s “Women’s Marathon Mix” ($11) offers tips on running efficency, breathing and form during a 30-minute run, matched to music by Jimmy Eat World and others. Pick your pace and work on your form with this star of women’s running.
For a speed workout, try Goucher’s “Endurance Boost” ($13), a 40-minute run with four sets of intervals set to tunes by The Black Eyed Peas and Beck, among others. Both downloadable albums include bonus interviews with the pro runners; Samuelson’s also features a digital booklet of training tips for runners.
For other Nike workouts, including a beginner-friendly treadmill interval workout with music by Ok Go, search “Nike Sport Music” in your iTunes program, or visit nikeplus.com.
