Film Shows The Secret Behind Meb’s Ongoing Marathon Success

“City Slickers Can’t Stay With Me” had a low-key preliminary premiere at this year’s Boston Marathon in April. Now, the film, which documents the engaging career of Bob Larsen, Meb’s running coach, officially premieres in New York and Los Angeles this week. The documentary follows Larsen’s longstanding relationship with Meb and premieres from Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, just ahead of the New York City Marathon on Sunday, where Meb will run, and months ahead of the Olympic Trials Marathon next February in LA.

AMC Empire 25 Theater in New York and Laemmle Music Hall in LA will both show the film; check regular listings for times.
