You Will Cry Watching This Boston Marathon Finish

She became one of the first female double amputees to complete the iconic marathon.

Jami Marseilles completed the 2016 Boston Marathon, becoming one of the first woman double below-knee amputee to complete the race. Celeste Corcoran, a bombing survivor and also a double amputee, embraced her at the finish of a very emotional final few steps. The Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF) says that Jami had played a key mentor role for Celeste after she had to have her two legs amputated, and “this time around, it was Celeste supporting and motivating Jami to finish the race.”
