It’s happening—that choreographed attempt at breaking 2 hours in the marathon. It’s happening this weekend in Milan, where three of Nike’s perfectly geared up and ‘engineered’ athletes will attempt to break one of the biggest barriers in running.
It’s a project, or race, or science experiment, or publicity stunt, or marketing tactic (all of which this has been called) that’s garnered a lot of eyeballs in the running world. Regardless if it’s in perfectly prepared conditions or not, everyone is a bit curious if the two-hour mark can or will fall at all this weekend. Get all the deets below!
The Details:
When: Saturday, May 6 at 5:45 a.m. Milan time (or Friday, May 5 at 8:45 p.m. PST)
