I know you love running as much
as I do. But sometimes don’t you like to mix it up a bit? Try a
change of pace, a break in your routine? Why not pack your bags and head to a
three-day cycling camp to learn new skills, experience cross-training at it’s
finest and best of all, make new fitness-focused friends.

Carmichael
Training Systems
, founded by renowned cycling coach Chris Carmichael, offers
two women’s-only beginner camps to rev up your summer season. Whether you
prefer the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina or the Colorado Rockies, one of their
training centers is sure to appeal to your adventurous side. The camps are
designed for beginner to intermediate riders, and will help you gain
the necessary skills to be confident and
comfortable in all cycling conditions. You’ll learn the basics of bike
handling, cornering, group riding dynamics, climbing and descending skills,
basic bike repair and women’s specific nutrition.

The Asheville Women’s Beginner Camp runs
from June 12-14. The Colorado Springs Women’s Beginner Camp runs from July
17-19. To view the entire CTS camp schedule, or to learn more about individual
coaching programs available through CTS, visit www.trainright.com.
