Run Like A Mother, is an organization dedicated to helping moms get out and run! Offering 5K training plans for all running abilities and six Mother’s Day 5K races across the country, RLAM is the perfect way for a mother/daughter duo or any running mom to spend her special day! Have younger runners? Sign them up for the one-mile kid’s course so everyone can be included.
A celebration of women, Run Like A Mother was founded in 2008 by coach and author Megan Searfoss. Since its start, Run Like A Mother has encouraged more than 20,000 women in all stages of motherhood (novice and experienced alike) across the country to make running a part of their life, plus they had nearly 8,000 mother/daughter duos running last mother’s day!
“Through Run Like A Mother, women everywhere can feel motivated and inspired to get on their feet and keep exercising,” says Searfoss. “The race gives women an opportunity to be a part of something that helps them meet their fitness goals while giving back to the community.” Run Like a Mother partners with women’s and children’s charities in local markets, with each race participant able to make a personal, direct donation during the registration process.
Run Like a Mother has 5K races in six cities over Mother’s Day weekend! Participants receive a tote bag, race tee, finisher’s medal and a finish-line flower!
Can’t find a race near you? You can still join moms across the country as part of the virtual run! Participants in the virtual run receive a virtual training guide, finisher’s tee and a commemorative medal.
