We love being able to connect with our readers about all things running. Another thing we love? The community that we’ve built for runners to share their knowledge, struggles and victories with one another. You’re always ready to help other runners on the journey to PRs, marathon finishes and more and we are so glad to be able to help make it happen.

We asked our readers:
What’s the best running app to track mileage and routes?

Here’s what they had to say…

…on Facebook:

Laura Nower: Strava and Garmin connect with my Garmin Vivoactive.

Angie Witte: I either use the Garmin Connect (tied to my Forerunner) or my Apple watch. I tried MapMyRun, but the mileage was way off showing me going further and faster than I did. Garmin seems to be the most accurate but don’t like the chest strap for the HR. I like my Apple watch and it is pretty close to the Garmin for mileage. Also has built in HR and other sensors for overall health tracking.

Megan Walters: Map my run for sure!

Erika Hannam: RunKeeper for sure !

Erin Cornwell: I’m using Nike+

Dawn Anderson: Endomondo works good for me. I’ve used it for a long time

Susan Hart-Keuker: I use Nike +. I’ve used it for years and it’s never let me down.

Patty Zermeno Ramirez: Runtastic…I like being to set up intervals.

Judy Phillips: I use Walkmeter (run setting). Links to MyFitnessPal, etc. I heard Strava is good.

…on Twitter:

@peppyplant: I’m loving @Strava for ease and route planning!

@Karen_Finn: I love the @RoadID app! It tracks mileage, routes and sends an email to my brother letting him know where I am!

@MileageMama: I love @Runkeeper, especially the custom workouts function.

@jillkate: Daily Mile!

@amoonhalffull: I’ve really enjoyed using map my run

@GonzalezCarissa@Runkeeper is good 4 mapping & stats, but would also suggest .@CharityMiles to help raise $ for good causes while u run!

After going through the responses, our readers are loving RunKeeper, MapMyRun and Garmin Connect the most!
