Earlier this month, The North Face Endurance Challenge was run in San Fransisco, California. Held at Golden Gate Recreational Area over the course of an entire weekend, runners had the option of competing in a variety of distances from 5K to 50 miles. In addition of California, the North Face hosts Endurance Challenges in New York, Washington, D.C., Ontario, Wisconsin, and Utah. Each city offers a unique and challenging trail-running experience for every level of runner.
Winning the 50-miler in 7 hours, 8 minutes, and 9 seconds was Magdalena Lewy-Boulet, who crossed the finish line hand in hand with her young son. Women’s Running Vice Present Jessie Sebor placed 5th in the 50K!
