Jessie’s Training Log: 84 Days to Go

My first 10+ miler! I really wanted this to go well. . .

I started strong, but hit a wall at mile 10 and barely eeked out the final three miles. To think that in a few months, I’ll be racing more than twice this distance is more than a little discouraging, but I’m trying to stay positive, trust my training and enjoy the journey.

On a lighter note, I made the brilliant error of dropping off ALL my workout shorts at the laundromat. Not running was not an option, so I headed to the local mall to snag some cheap workout gear that wouldn’t chafe. The best option I could find were these booty shorts. Sorry you had to see that, San Diego!
