My boyfriend came to visit (all the way from Florida) this weekend, so I put running on the back burner. After a day walking around Balboa Park and checking out the skull exhibit (gnarly) at the Natural History Museum, we went to a gym near the hotel we rented for our stay. It was a short workout, but it felt great to sweat — if only for a few minutes.
I want to know. . .how do you balance your training when other plans (like important guests) arise?
