I just read this article from the Wall Street Journal, about American cyclist Evelyn Stevens.
Stevens discovered cycling one year ago, at the age of 26, and immediately
rocketed to the top echelon of women’s competitive racing. This week she’s
pedaling against the best female roadies in the world during the 6-day Route de
France.
While Stevens is obviously gifted with incredible genetics, her story also illustrates that
anyone might have a hidden talent, just waiting for the precise right moment to
be discovered. Kind of makes you wonder what you’re capable of, doesn’t it?
