Pd_peppermint_cooling_foot_lotion_rpk For
the final evening of my easing-back-into-reality week, I decided to pamper my
feet in preparation for a weekend’s worth of run and ride training. And I knew
just the trick: a soothing foot soak using peppermint infused products from The
Body Shop
.

After
popping in a DVD and clearing the clutter from my couch, I filled a large
plastic tub with warm water and added a handful of Peppermint Cooling Foot Soak
crystals. I eased my achy feet into the tub, sat back and let the tingly soak
transport me for a good 15 minutes. Once the water cooled and I felt sufficiently
soothed, I dried my feet with a plush towel, then slathered on liberal amounts
of Peppermint Cooling Foot Lotion. My feet felt at once cool, refreshed and
oh-so-happy! The final step was to cover them with a thick pair of socks,
allowing the extra lotion time to soak in overnight, softening my feet in a way
they rarely experience.

I’m
all for the occasional splurge on a true spa treatment, but it’s nice to know
that pockets of relaxation and pampering are just as easy to carve out at home,
with simply a few quality products and a brief bit of time devoted solely to
oneself!
