The final item I’d like to introduce from my
adventures at the Outdoor Retailer show is a delightful new snack bar known as
Fruition.

Fruition is the snack-sized sibling to the meal
replacement ProBar. But while this new offering is slightly smaller in stature
than its predecessor, it packs no less of a wholesome, delicious superfood
punch. ProBar’s penchant for unprocessed, organic whole foods carries through
to Fruition – a low-fat, high-fiber fruit based treat that won over my taste
buds with the very first bite.

Included in Fruition’s ingredient profile are white
and black chia seeds (yes, of Ch-Ch-Ch-Chia Pet fame). These super-seeds are a
potent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, protein and antioxidants. They’re also a
great source of soluble dietary fiber.

Fruition comes in four fruit-lovin’ flavors –
strawberry, blueberry, cran-raspberry and peach. I sampled and enjoyed them
all, but given that I’m a bit summertime-stone-fruit-obsessed at the moment, I’ll
vote for the fresh-tasting peach as my favorite. The bars will be available
beginning in mid-August, and my mouth is already watering for more!

Watch for more information about Fruition coming
soon at www.theprobar.com.
