Heading out the door? Read this article on the new Outside+ app available now on iOS devices for members! Download the app.

What if changing the world was as easy as lacing up your shoes and heading out for a run? What if we told you, there’s an App for thatCharity Miles is a new App that empowers you to earn money for charity while running, biking or walking (and it won’t cost you a cent!).

Available on the iPhone and Android platforms, this app deserves download priority.  To take advantage of this powerful tool, all you need to do is:

  • Download the App on your iPhone or Android phone.
  • Activate your account by choosing the charity you want to donate to (like Feeding America and Habitat for Humanity).
  • Login into the App and go for a run.
  • At the end of your run, complete the workout on the App and voila! – your miles are logged and the donation is made (at no cost to you!)

Runners and walkers earn 25¢ per mile, while bikers earn 10¢ per mile. You can make a difference without reaching into your own pocket – all you have to do is run!

We love that Charity Miles allows users to make a statement, raise awareness, and show commitment to a cause. After all, “changing the world is a team sport.”
