An Improved Water Bottle to Love

Sigg I confess: I love Sigg bottles. I have two, and I always take the smaller one with me when I travel or to the gym, and I use the larger model on backpacking trips. But I do have one gripe with my favorite reusable water bottle company: Sigg bottles are hard to clean because they aren’t dishwasher-friendly—they are made of aluminum or stainless steel—and the mouth is narrow and hard to fit a sponge or brush inside.

But I can’t complain anymore: Sigg just released a new wide-mouth version of the bottle to solve the problem. It’s also compatible with the sport-style “active” top, designed to allow you to drink while running or biking. The new mouth is wide enough for easy cleaning and provides another perk: ice cubes fit inside the bottle (the previous model’s mouth is too narrow for this), providing a refreshing drink during hot summer days. The 1-liter wide mouth bottle costs $25; order at mysigg.com.
