Allison’s Training: 55 Days to Go

After the long effort yesterday, I wasn’t completely thrilled about pedaling again today, but I hopped on the bike, cranked some tunes and looked at my schedule. My coach had me down for a high intensity, 35-minute workout. I tripled checked to make sure I wasn’t missing an hour of free spinning or another workout, but that was all. After emerging from my den cave so soon and getting quizzical looks from my family, I forced myself to stretch for longer than usual (still room for improvement) because it really did feel like I was getting away with something.

Of course I considered going for a ‘quick’ snowshoe or cross-country ski, but I’m going to listen to my coach.
