UnTapped Lemon Tea Mapleaid, $2 Per Single-Serve Packets

The Arnold Palmer–like taste of this drink makes it extremely refreshing (especially when cold). Its super-short ingredient list—just pure maple sugar, lemon, black tea and sea salt—also scored serious points with testers. The Vermont-based brand creates maple-containing products for athletes, as maple naturally contains electrolytes (potassium, magnesium) and other nutrients (zinc, iron, manganese), and we’ve been impressed by each new product. In each serving of this flavor of Mapleaid, you’ll find 80 calories, 21 grams of carbs and 26 milligrams of caffeine.

Skratch Labs Sport Hydration Drink Mix With Strawberries, $1.95 For Single-Serve Packet

This brand makes some of the cleanest-tasting sports nutrition products out there, and this strawberry flavor, which is made with tiny pieces of actual strawberries and cane sugar, is no exception. It has a pleasantly sweet and crisp fruit flavor, perfect for hot summer workouts. In each serving are 80 calories and 20 grams of carbs. This drink is also rich in the electrolyte sodium (380 milligrams) and has both calcium and magnesium.

Mode Electrolyte Hydration Green Apple, $35 For 35-Serving Pouch

This hydration drink dissolves extremely well in water—the drink turns clear—and it offers a flavor that’s reminiscent of green apple Jolly Rancher candies, just not as sweet or strong a flavor. A key ingredient in this sports drink is natural betaine, derived from sugar beets, which helps your body metabolize carbohydrates and protein. Each serving contains 45 calories, 10 grams of carbs and all four key electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium and magnesium).
