Capris seem to be everyone’s favorite type of bottom to run in. Finding the best pair isn’t always easy. They need to stay in place, last through tons of miles, and look great. So we turned to our readers to find out what type of capris they love. They came to the rescue so you can find your perfect pair.

We asked…
What advice would you give someone who wants to run their first marathon next year?

You answered…

…On Facebook:

Morgan Benes: Nike legendary! I have chub rub but ran a half with them on and no pilling… Dead serious, I’ve worn them for several classes, weight training, and running still no pilling. And they are squat proof!

Marcela Abeyta Donatelli: My Athleta capris are amazing!

Cindy Deas Wells: Pearl Izumi. They are better known for their cycling shorts, but their running tights are awesome.

Michelle Delecki: Lululemon Rebel Runners. Ordered my first pair of CW-X, so those may become my new favorite

Sylvia Ross: Nike – have two pairs which I alternate. Had them for years, washed em week in, week out. Showing no signs of wear. Perfect fit, very comfortable. Back zip pocket with plenty of depth.

Katelyn Temple: Oiselle Go Jogging capris!

Tracy L. Mullins: My INKnBURN capris. Beautiful designs. Great fit!

Jenny Coleman: I love my high waisted capris from Old Navy

Charlotte Moore: My Pink Fabletics!!! Love my membership

Mary Adams: Danskin from Walmart. Can’t beat the price, are durable, have a useful pocket and don’t slide down,

Sandy McShane Mastrullo: Fila makes great ones that stay up & come in fun patterns.

Teresa Paxton Hazel: My Athleta capris with built in skirt. No riding up, no drooping down, and FOUR POCKETS!

Jenny Lacopo Matchett: I have a pair of NorthFace that are great!

Peggy Kreman: Lucy – pricey but worth it. They are a little thicker and stay up. I have several styles.

Carolyn Clark Miller: I have a pair of c9’s from Target. They are 6 years old and look new. I wear them for every race unless it’s super hot. They have a zip pocket too.

Cara Stone: Victoria Secret Sport

Andi Moshier: Zella, Nordstrom. Has pocket for ID. Stays in place.

Lori Olsen: Sugoi….absolutely love them
