Q: What should I look for in a running sock?
Basic running socks don’t have to be expensive to support your feet and provide you with what you need. A quality running sock is a blend (not 100 percent cotton) and incorporates some wicking material to avoid sweaty feet, blisters and chafing.
Additionally, look for a sock that provides some arch support with a tighter more cushioned fit around the heel of the foot as well as the Achilles area. This style will hug your foot, while minimizing discomfort caused by exposed heel skin rubbing on the edge of your shoe.
