There’s a shoe brand that is becoming a pioneer in the industry—Crosskix.
Based in Portland, Ore., this company is making shoes that are both functional and fashionable…and environmentally friendly. Their shoes are mold injected and are the first athletic shoes to be made of foam composite (if you’ve seen this type of material before, it can be found in Crocs).
Crosskix officially launched on Kickstarter in 2013 and launched in Dubai and Mexico in 2014 thanks to an international distributor. Now, in 2016, they have added four more international countries to their distribution list and have just released new styles and colors.
Check out the video above for a deeper look into the brand and how they made their shoes. They are known to have excellent breathability with their strategically-placed air and water drain vents, and their cushioned foam heel pad and adjustable strap adds to the comfort.
