Goodr Whiskey Shots With Satan, $25
“I mean, the name itself is enough to buy these without hesitation. Not only am I obsessed with the way Goodr markets their product (it’s hilarious), but I’m also in love with the low price point and the fact that these glasses actually work on the run…and at the beach…and walking around…and just whenever. Plus they pair well with my endless stock of trucker hats—it is Southern California after all!” –Caitlyn Pilkington, web editor
Hydralyte Effervescent Electrolyte Tablets, $10
“We’re told to rehydrate with water after running–but water alone won’t give our bodies everything we need liquid-wise to recover. When it comes to electrolyte replacement, there are a couple of Gatorade flavors I love, but sugary drinks with strong flavors don’t always sound refreshing after a run. Hydralyte’s electrolyte tablets are a fair substitute. After a hot, sweaty run, the only thing I want is a cool glass of water (or a can of Diet Coke–but that’s a whole other issue we don’t need to discuss right now), so it helps to drop two of these mild-flavored tablets into a glass and double down on what my body needs. With one dose (two tablets), I get the refreshing water I’m craving and the electrolytes that I know my body needs. Double win!” –Meghan Roos, associate web editor
Massage Envy Total Body Stretch Method, Varied Pricing By Session
“I’m guilty of speeding through a good stretch session. The Total Body Stretch Method at Massage Envy is relaxing and much needed for healing the body from running. There’s a series of stretches that the specialists go through to help you gain flexibility and rid your body of lactic acid. It’s truly relaxing and helpful to heal the mind and body. My specialist suggested to pair a stretch with a sports massage afterwards for maximum benefits.” –Fara Rosenzweig, freelance writer
Weav Run App, Free
“Flow is a magic state we click into when we’re having a great day. You know that run where you feel like you blink and suddenly it’s over? That’s flow. Weav Run is a new app that makes that happen. Unlike other apps out there, Weav Run has created software that changes the entire song so that when you speed up, it doesn’t sound like you’re listening to chipmunks. From hill repeats to tempo runs, I am obsessed with bringing it with me on my harder workouts.” –Kelly Roberts, freelance writer
Flexi Lexi Flamingo Flexi Yoga Pants, $79
“The Flamingo Flexi Yoga Pants from Bangkok-based Flexi Lexi certainly turned heads (and drew compliments!) in yoga class this week. Made of super-soft, stretchy and smooth fabric, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and lightweight they were for yoga (they’d probably work well for hot yoga as well). They’re more fun and whimsical than I’m used to wearing, but they also brought some lightheartedness to my work week and would make a fun gift. Other favorite yoga pants designs in the Flexi Lexi shop: watermelon, avocado, cactus and mermaid.” –Bethany Mavis, managing editor
