CALIA Women’s Essential Crossover Fitted Capris, $60

The Essential Crossover Fitted Capris by CALIA (Carrie Underwood’s fitness apparel line) are comfortable, trendy and moisture-wicking–all big pros in our book. Featuring a zippered pocket at the waist and made of material that provides four-way stretch, these versatile workout capris meet our needs, whether we’re going for a long run or need something comfortable to wear for a dash to the local coffee shop. Bonus: the smooth flatlock stitches running down the leg cut down on the risk of chafing, which is good news for those of us that frequently log 5 or more miles at a time.

Koala Clip Phone Case, $22-26

“If you have never been comfortable taking your phone on the run with you, meet Koala Clip! A phone case made just for runners, by a mama runner, sits comfortably between your shoulder blades and attaches with a magnetic clip. It stays in place, wicks away sweat and is completely comfortable.” –Allie Burdick, freelance writer

NDX Joint DX Vitamin Capsules, $50 For One-Month Supply

Our web editor has been dealing with knee problems for most of her running life. After consulting a sports physician years ago, she turned to daily glucosamine supplements–and recently tested the Joint DX Vitamin Capsules by NDX–to keep the lubrication in her joints at healthy levels. Though such supplements can get a little pricey (these are priced at $50 for a single month’s supply of 60 capsules) and aren’t the best match for every runner, they have the potential to improve cartilage health and alleviate some of the tender symptoms that many runners are unfortunately all too familiar with.

Editor’s note: Like many supplements, these by NDX have not been assessed by the Food and Drug Administration. Please consult your doctor before taking any supplements intended to help with joint health.

Kracklin’ Kamut Sea Salt, $16 For 12-Pack

So much yum. This tasty snack satisfies our afternoon cravings when we need something salty and crunchy to munch on–and it does so without bringing in any of those unpronounceable ingredients that we just know aren’t good to put into our bodies. Made from a Kamut grain grown in Montana with the finishing touches (e.g. roasting, light salting) completed in a tiny town nearby, this snack tastes delicious and feels clean to eat. The best part? It tastes just as good sprinkled over a bowl of yogurt or fruit as it does straight out of the packet.

Link AKC Smart Collar, $149

“Who doesn’t want the best for their dog? That’s what we thought–so why not track their activity to make sure they stay safe, too. The Link AKC Smart Collar is the only dog collar you’ll need. Designed with durable leather, it features GPS tracking and has an app that monitors activity, training assistance, syncs with Amazon Alexa and more.” –Fara Rosenzweig, freelance writer
