Two years into their launch, Adidas Ultra Boost shoes have built a cult following thanks to the incredibly comfortable Boost foam sole and a knit upper that cradles your foot like a sock. One drawback? A $180 price tag can be a tough one to swallow. That’s $90 per shoe!

Spendthrift Adidas fans can rejoice as the brand just released the new Solar Boost. These kicks include the same Boost foam, an EVA sock liner for comfort and a braided mesh upper. They look pretty sweet—and they’re a cool $100. Caveats include the fact that the specialized foam is only in the rear of the sole (making this a better choice for heel strikers) and the interior doesn’t boast quite the same cozy fit as the Ultra.
