Runners Joined The Dark Side At The Star Wars Half Marathon
The inaugural Star Wars Half Marathon - The Dark Side, took place this weekend at Walt Disney World Resorts.

Sunday, April 17 marked the inaugural Star Wars Half Marathon – The Dark Side at Walt Disney World Resort. The counterpart race, the Star Wars Half Marathon – The Light Side, takes place at the Disneyland Resort from January 12-15, 2017. Jason Ryf, 45, from Oshkosh, WI and Katie McGrath, 31, from Oakdale, NY took the top male and female spots, and they were joined by 19,000 runners. Total, 43,000 runners registered to participate in the 5K, 10K and half marathon that took place between April 14-17.
