If you’ve never spectated a 5K road race, it’s something to do at least once in your life. And if you’re in Boston for marathon weekend, the BAA 5K is definitely a spectacle of speedy proportions. The energy is electric, and all the runners are stoked to be out there. Today both American 5K road records were broken—first by Ben True for the men (13:22), then by Molly Huddle for the women (14:50). Run on a new course this year, the BAA 5K should definitely be added to a bucket list, whether to run, spectate or just view our photos from the day. Photos: Scott Draper/Caitlyn Pilkington
