Chris Troyanos, medical coordinator at the Boston Marathon, has been doing what he does at the Boston Marathon for 40 years. Planning medical coverage of this year’s race started last fall. In this video, he breaks down how many people it takes to pull the tents together, the technology used to assess runners’ need for specific medical attention, how the weather affects the numbers of medical tent attendees and everything else a runner should know to keep themselves safe on race day.
