  • Senior Vice President of the Active Sports Network, then a 200-person dot com company that is still thriving today with over 300 employees
  • President and General Manager of a $20-million sports nutrition company
  • Strategy Consultant for Deloitte Consulting where she advised senior level executives at Fortune 500 companies

Dawna earned her MBA at The Anderson School at UCLA and her B.S. from the University of California, Berkeley.

Jessica Sebor

Jessica Sebor is the editor-in-chief of Women’s Running magazine. A lifelong bookworm, Jessica started running in high school when she realized that years of poring through the library books had not lent her the coordination necessary to practice other team sports. Luckily, she fell madly in love. Jessica continued running through her career as an editor and writer for a number of publishing houses and periodicals, including Interview Magazine, Random House and Ultrarunning Magazine. She has run through mountains in Peru, frigid Czech winters and Times Square at rush hourbut she’s never been anywhere more inspiring than Women’s Running magazine. As editor, she hopes to share her excitement for the sport with women everywhere.

Melissa Mellert

Melissa Mellert is the art director for Women’s Running. She graduated from the Ringling School of Art and Design for Graphic Design and has worked for magazines including Visit Florida, Senses Arts and Culture and SRQ Magazine. Originally from upstate New York, she loves the warm Sarasota weather and beaches. Aside from being a big animal lover and longtime vegetarian she stays healthy and active playing soccer and running.
