Sunday marked the 100th running of the Dipsea, an
historic, if somewhat eccentric 7.5 mile trail race from Mill Valley to Stinson Beach in beautiful Marin County, California.

Among other slightly bizarre rules of the race, the eldest
and youngest competitors benefit from a significant head start – enough to help
8-year-old Reilly Johnson edge out her closest competitor (68-year-old Melody
Anne Schultz) to claim victory and make history as the race’s youngest ever
