Welcome to Week 3 of Project Start! This week’s ambassador is mommy and runner April Cargill, @abril413.

April is an avid member of Harlem Run and November Project’s New York, NY tribe. She is known within these tight-knit running circles for her distinctive, long dreadlocks and tireless enthusiasm for the sport of running.

April was motivated to begin running to improve her health, when she decided to quit smoking and change her lifestyle. April carries herself as a fiercely expressive and empowered member of the running community, and is an inspiration to everyone she comes into contact with.

Thanks for being such a fierce example to women runners, April! We are grateful for the inspiration you provide.
