On Sunday, thousands of runners hit the streets of Carlsbad, Calif., for another year of the Carlsbad 5000 and All-Day 20K. Everyone from world record holders, to hundreds of age-groupers, to even kids running with their parents covered 3.1 miles along the coastline and through the popular village district of Carlsbad. Check out some photos from the day—it was overcast, but the sun popped for parts of the morning in true San Diego fashion. Even better—the popular Pizza Port beer garden was crammed with enthusiastic runner-dancers as Betamaxx sang their 80’s hearts out! Photos: Justin Britton
