People came out in the thousands for the first-ever USA Half Marathon Invitational in San Diego. Some sporting red, white and blue, others celebrating the miles with their friends, runners made the 13.1-mile loop from downtown San Diego to Waterfront Park, covering some of the more eclectic areas of the city.
