What’s that, you say? A mega magazine deal for Global Running Day? YAY! (Use code GLOBALRUNNING and check it out!)

Dolina Rumbold is from Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland, and we asked her a few questions about running:

Why do you run?

I run to feel freedom and because it is something that is always a constant in my life and helps me feel grounded. I feel a wonderful sense of achievement when I reach my goals. This past year, running has helped me in my struggle with post-natal depression.

Describe your favorite place to run.

I love to run close to nature—whether it be beside the sea or on a forest trail. Running at sunrise or sunset is an amazing time to run.

What’s your go-to pre- or post-run meal?

Pre-run I like wholemeal toast or a bagel (and a cup of tea!) an hour before. Post-run I look forward to pasta and a soda water and lime!

What makes you a badass?

I run in rain, hail or shine and am known in the town where I live as the runner who pushes a pram!

How will you celebrate Global Running Day?

By fitting in a run…I don’t always know if it will be morning, noon or night, but I’ll get it done!
