Lolo Jones Just Dropped Out Of The Olympic Trials

The three-time Olympian, best known for competing in both summer and winter games, will not compete on the track in Eugene.

Lolo Jones, perhaps best-known for competing in both the Summer Olympics and Winter Olympics in hurdlers and bobsled, for a total of three Olympic berths, has scratched from the Olympic Trials on the track. She was one of the more recognizable names set to compete in the 100-meter hurdles at Hayward Field. This announcement comes after the athlete underwent hip surgery in October, according to the Los Angeles Times.

People had mixed feelings about Jones joining TEAM USA for the winter games in Sochi, accusing her of seeking attention by becoming only the ninth athlete to compete in both summer and winter games. Regardless, she has a noteworthy career between racing in the 100-meter hurdles, racing on the bobsled team and using her platform to speak openly in the past about her personal choices surrounding relationships.

The big question now is, is that it for this Olympian?
